High Mass on a past Chant Training Day, with Matthew Ward.

Holy Rood Church, Abingdon Rd, Oxford OX1 4LD, is a short distance south of Folly Bridge in Oxford (click for a map). It is a chapel of ease for the parish of North Hinksey, the northernmost parish of Portsmouth Diocese (the River Thames is the boundary between Portsmouth Diocese and Birmingham Archdiocese).

It was built in 1961, and hosts a weekly Sunday Sung Mass at 5pm.

It has its own car park, and is a mile from Oxford Railway Station.

It has a parish hall with a kitchen.

7 minutes walk into Oxford there is a Tesco Express, and cafes a little further. Even closer, over the bridge, is the Head of the River pub.
