The church of Our Lady of the Assumption and St Gregory is located at 10 Warwick Street, London  W1B 5LZ (click for a map).

Warwick Street runs parallel to part of Regent Street. The closest Tube station is Piccadilly Circus (5 minutes walk), and the next is Oxford Circus (10 minutes walk).

On street parking in Warwick Street and nearby is limited. The nearest car park is NCP Brewer Street, Soho, 5 minutes walk away.

The address of the presbytery attached to the church is 24 Golden Square, and the Challoner Hall (the parish hall, in the basement) also has a door giving onto Golden Square, though on chant training days we access it through the church.

The church was completed in 1790, on the site of the chapel of the Portuguese Embassy, where Mass was available during Penal Times, and was damaged in the anti-Catholic Gordon Riots. See the history of the parish here.

The church is today the headquarters of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham; the Ordinary lives in the Presbytery.

The Challoner Hall has a small kitchen. Opposite the entrance to the church is a branch of Pret A Manger; there are other shops and cafes nearby.

We are grateful to the Parish Priest, Fr Mark Elliot-Smith, and successive Ordinaries, for allowing the Latin Mass Society to hold a number of different kinds of events in the church and the Challoner Hall.
